Le Labo du Pilote publishes editorial content intended for information purposes for pilots. Its author is an airline pilot and former nurse; he is not a doctor. The information provided does not in any way constitute medical advice, a diagnosis, or an assessment of fitness, and cannot replace the advice of an authorized aeromedical examiner (AME) or a healthcare professional.

Qui édite, qui vend
Le contenu est édité par Fabian Voncken, personne physique assujettie à la TVA, Rue Lambertine Bosny 23, 4053 Chaudfontaine, Belgique, TVA BE 0895.034.935. Contact : contact@labodupilote.fr.
La vente est conclue directement avec moi. Le paiement est traité par Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Irlande), qui intervient uniquement comme prestataire de paiement : il encaisse pour mon compte, il ne devient pas le vendeur. La facture est établie à mon nom, et c'est moi qui suis votre interlocuteur pour tout ce qui touche à la commande.
Ce que vous achetez, et à quel prix
59 € TTC, paiement unique, sans abonnement ni reconduction. Le prix s'entend toutes taxes comprises : la TVA belge de 21 % est incluse dans les 59 €, elle ne s'y ajoute pas. Elle est calculée et affichée au moment du paiement, et figure sur la facture qui vous est envoyée par e-mail. Le prix est le même pour tous les acheteurs, sans quota ni offre limitée dans le temps.
L'achat comprend : le guide en PDF, dans l'édition du pays que vous choisissez avant de payer (France, Belgique, Suisse ou Luxembourg) ; l'accès à l'annexe en ligne de cette édition pendant 12 mois ; et les mises à jour de votre édition pendant ces 12 mois. L'accès à l'annexe est valable un an. Il vous est remis sous la forme d'un lien personnel, dans le mail qui accompagne votre exemplaire : il n'y a aucune clé à recopier.
Livraison
La livraison est dématérialisée. Vous recevez un e-mail quelques minutes après le paiement, quelques heures au maximum. Il contient votre exemplaire du PDF en pièce jointe, construit à votre nom, il n'existe donc pas à l'avance, ainsi que le lien personnel qui ouvre votre annexe en ligne.
Une adresse e-mail valide est indispensable. Si vous n'avez rien reçu au bout de 24 heures, pensez d'abord à regarder dans vos indésirables, puis écrivez-moi à contact@labodupilote.fr : je renvoie l'exemplaire moi-même.
Terms of sale of the digital guide
These terms apply to the purchase of the guide "Preparing and passing your pilot medical examination". You accept them upon payment, by checking the designated box. Effective August 4, 2026.
Who publishes, who sells

The sale is concluded directly with me. The payment is processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland), which acts solely as a payment service provider: they collect on my behalf, they do not become the seller. The invoice is issued in my name, and I am your point of contact for everything related to the order.
What you buy, and at what price
You are buying a digital guide in PDF format, at the price indicated in euros on the presentation page on the day of the order, all taxes included (VAT applied according to your country of residence). Access is strictly personal and non-transferable.
Immediate execution and right of withdrawal
By checking the box on the payment form, you consent to the delivery of the digital content beginning immediately after your order, before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, and you expressly acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
What "immediate execution" means here: your copy is generated in your name as soon as payment is received. It does not exist before your order, it bears your name and a fingerprint specific to you, and it cannot be given to anyone else. It is the initiation of this generation that marks the beginning of execution.

Refunds and complaints
Refunds are handled by me, and I review them on a case-by-case basis. If something is wrong: a copy that doesn't arrive, a link that doesn't open, a guide that isn't what you thought, write to me first: I reply personally, and most problems are resolved in one message. Write to me before initiating a dispute with your bank: I reply faster than a procedure, and without fees for anyone.
What the guide is not
The guide is a preparation document. It does not constitute medical advice, carries no prognosis of fitness, contains no assessment of a personal situation, and replaces neither your authorized aeromedical examiner, nor the regulatory texts, nor the instructions of your country's authority. See the "Nature of the content" section above.
Your data in case of purchase
Stripe sends me your name and email address. They are used for four things, and nothing else: to build your nominative copy, to send it to you (delivery via Brevo), to maintain the registry linking a fingerprint to its buyer, and to write to you once, about a week after your purchase, to ask what is missing from the guide and if you agree to your review being quoted. This message contains an unsubscribe link, and no other will be sent. This registry is neither published, put online, nor communicated to third parties, and it is kept as long as the traceability of the copies requires it.
You can request access to this data, its rectification, or its deletion by writing to contact@labodupilote.fr, with the understanding that deleting the line from the registry also removes the possibility of reassigning your copy to you. You can also file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels).
Mediation and applicable law
In the event of an unresolved dispute, a consumer residing in Belgium can refer the matter free of charge to the Consumer Mediation Service, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 bte 1, 1000 Brussels, mediationconsommateur.be. A consumer residing in another Member State can contact the European Consumer Centre in their country.
The relationship is governed by Belgian law, without this depriving you of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of consumer law in your country of residence.
Personal data
This site collects no personal data without your knowledge and uses no advertising trackers. If you contact us by email, your email address is used only to reply to you. In accordance with applicable regulations, you can request access, rectification, or deletion of data concerning you by writing to contact@labodupilote.fr. If you subscribe to the newsletter, your address is processed by Brevo and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each sending. Data linked to a purchase of the guide are subject to distinct processing, described in the terms of sale above.
Cookies and audience measurement
This site uses Google Analytics to measure its audience (number of visits, pages viewed, visitor origin). These measurement cookies are only deposited after your consent, collected via the banner displayed on your first visit. You can refuse them, or modify your choice at any time by clicking "Manage cookies" at the bottom of each page. No advertising cookies are used; if you refuse, no audience measurement data is sent.
